As someone asked in comments, why are we paying these missing liberals. Bloc and NDP are also missing, but they are not a government in waiting, and never will be.
Senators are deducted pay for missing days, how about MPs?
Maybe all those Grits that are leaving the sinking ship have taken early retirement, or maybe they think the House is in recess.
