Lemon: British Dhmmis in Control
Melanie Phillips is one of a kind and her post yesterday must be read:
If Butt is not rebutted with other evidence (sorry had to do this) there may be a day when fanatical Islamist will be broken. A very small number of Muslims follow their course of thought.
I encourage you to stay current with The Current to listen if you did not. Kudos to The Current.
I wonder if this change in content has anything to do with a change at the top of News division on June 19th.
And no, I don't necessarily believe that this post by BATB on June 6, 2007 that suggested he resign had anything to do with it.
Yet while former Islamist extremists such as Hassan Butt and Ed Husain are urgently telling us the truth, Gordon Brown’s new administration is shutting its ears and embarking on a suicidally stupid and cowardly strategy. And for the first time in memory, CBC's The Current this morning actually presented a viewpoint not congruent to the Ceeb's normally pro-Islam stance. (not yet posted here). Their guest was the above noted Hassan Butt, previously extreme Jihadist who now reveals that Islamism is indeed a religious fanatical movement and has little (if anything) to do with poverty or the war fought against them.

Lemon: The Philosophical Bankruptcy of Humanism
Western society, having its wellspring in emigration from lands with little tolerance, has developed as the most tolerant place that has ever existed in the known universe. Western societies, and the Judeo Christian value systems that are inherent, are pretty much the only societies that offer pluralistic environments where everyone within can be expected to be treated humanely and are offered an unlimited chance to thrive.
Outside of countries born from Judeo Christian values, only Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore stand out as places that offer economic, educational, security and social opportunities for its residents.
There are no countries that are not democracies that offer similar well being and freedom to its citizens. There is not a single Islamic country, not a socialist country, not a developing nation that offers similar benefits to its residents. Indeed, of the 200 odd members of the United Nations, the societies that offer such wealth of life to their residents can almost be counted on a person’s fingers and toes.
People are evidencing their approval of Judeo Christian societies with their feet. People are lining up to move to the Canada, the UK and the United States. Turks are flooding to Germany, Moroccans and Algerians to France, Albanians to Yugoslavia, Angolans to South Africa. No one is rushing to live in Syria, China, Iran, Indonesia or Russia. Before long, Israel’s population will be more than half Muslim.
Judeo Christian Values are where it’s at. But many in our western society, for reasons known only to themselves, are fleeing away from and denying them to accept a value system that believes in everything and nothing: humanism.
The value systems that have produced the most successful and most admired societies in the universe are based on the laws of Moses and the principals of Jesus. They are not derived from the Koran, nor do they come from Voltaire, or the so-called founder of Humanism, Petrarch.
Humanists, believers of nothing that they can’t see and blind to the evils that they can, credit this aforementioned fifteenth century poet as being the first modern man and inventor of humanistic thought. This because he was the first person of note to deny the Church and supernaturalism. He wrote fairly decent love poems, was madly enthralled with a woman he never met, and never thought as highly of himself as devotees do today. It looks to a not-too-interested observer that these current day Petrarchian devotees looked long and hard to find anyone that they could pin this dubious “founder” title on, as early in history as they could.
Humanism is a morally bankrupt, bizarro-world collection of meandering thought that assumes that we can, as a basically-good species, objectively look at all things and act accordingly in a rational manner. They think the human race is a fluke of the universe. Humanism accepts naturalism (not nudist camps, but the rights of nature) and rejects all supernaturalism and only accepts an understanding that the essence of humanity relies upon reason and science, democracy and human compassion. This without any evidence that this has ever been a normal, much less accepted, practice of the species whatsoever throughout recorded history.
I have known well hundreds or thousands of humans, and even the most humanist of them seldom act rationally, much less objectively. And most often, the only good they do is to reasonably well polish off a side of ribs and a half case of beer.
Science has brought us the bomb, democracy has tended to replace a single tyrant with millions, reason is permitted to only come from the lips of appointed jurists, and compassion is most often only exhibited by those who strongly believe in the supernatural and a higher being.
As far as basic goodness, I’m sure an especially articulate humanist could rationalize how the basic goodness of mankind (and womankind) can be related to Islamic terrorists, or Rwandan genocide, or the Yugoslavian massacres, or the Inquisitionists, and so on.
Humanists are a bunch of darn do-gooders, and to quote P.J. O’Rourke, “Everybody wants to save the world and no one wants to help Mom do the dishes.”
Jack Nicholson likes Fidel Castro because, as he puts it, “he’s a good humanist.” This speaks volumes about where these 'believers' come from intellectually.
How does this humanist philosophical collection of meandering pseudo beliefs impact on our current society, and even more, our governing representation.
Well, much, maybe most, of the contemporary day-to-day decisions by governments in Canada come from this belief system (if it can be called this). Examples:
Since man (generically speaking, of course) is basically good, then criminals are owed a little nudge back toward goodness and murderers should be able to while away their time with at least a “faint hope” (Of what? Being able to murder again?). Since the pressures of society cause drug / alcohol addictions, then tax dollars must be used to buy needles and wine. The homeless need only a little guidance to find their way from Toronto City Hall to a shelter, but if they want to live outside in the cold, they have a right to this. Public health care becomes a philosophy, instead of an insurance policy to keep us alive, affordably. People who prefer to drive private vehicles and expend fossil fuels are much worse that those who take public transit and expend fossil fuels and electricity generated by petroleum fueled turbines. A pregnant woman, being basically good, is entitled to her convenience, but, an unborn child has no rights at all: embryos and foetuses can be harvested to extend the lives of those basically good people who have lived for a long time. People don’t kill people, guns kill people. No one is better than anyone else, and everyone has a right to anything. New arrivals to Canada must be supported with financial, emotional and institutional support, regardless of whether they need, want or expect or ask for it, because, well, just because.
Under the humanistic philosophy, there is always an external reason for a person’s failure to do something good, or for a person who does something bad there is no personal responsibility for any outcome. PMS, stress, post-partum depression or in the case of a recently resigned Member of Parliament, just general-all-around depression, are all reasons enough to deny personal responsibility for crimes. As if Svend Robinson is Jean Valjean. There is no reward for living a clean, honest, contributing life other than the benefit of paying more taxes to cover the tab.
A Google search yields 912,000 post-something syndromes that allow sufferers to absolve themselves of responsibility for something they did or didn’t do. It just ain’t their fault.
Critics of humanist philosophy are labelled lunatics, whackos, neo-nazis, racists, sexists, enemies of the planet, capitalists, imperialists, homophobes. Or the new perjorative, “Neo-con”. I wear this badge of honour proudly

Evening Lemons Report Bonner Akin May 24
Akin in for Duffy, so MDL is a loss. Quebec budget. Foreign credentials. Usual Grit and NDP opinion makers plus Goofie Newfie Doofus Danny Williams. Disappointed that Harper cancelled dinner with Premiers. Why the hell would PMSH ever even have tea with Williams.
Bonner in for Newman.
Both of the old farts don't see any reason to show up for work today. So we have two smiling pleasant faces, one male and dark, one female and blonde, filling in for two old farts who know how to do their job.
It does define the difference between CBC and CTV, though: Blonde/Dark, Male/Female. The only thing the same is the bias.
Michael Bryant on hand gun ban on Bonner. Bryant explains how murder yesterday was a terrible tragedy but that gun crime is down. I'm sure this will provide great solace to the young dead guy's family and friends. More fake compassion used for personal benefit this time by a politician. Not Canadian to shoot kids, Bryant says. Deep.
This night might have some promise afterall, second string interviewers and interviewees might lead to some real stupid questions and even dumber answers.
Oops. Spoke too fast. Looks like the Ceeb at least is gonna go to the Toronto Police Chief's news conference.
Don't they know what this does to my early eve blogging? Don't they realize that satisfying my audience and attracting readers is far more important than them doing the same? They don't get it. This hour is about ME!!! Memememememe.
God, Doofus Danny is a turd...
Akin on the Quebec budget, Ceeb is on the news conference.
Does anyone here care about the Quebec budget? Me Not. Except for the portion that comes outta my pocket.
Notice the Ceeb refered to the "shooting" of Jordan Manners.
Wasn't the event the "murder" of Jordan Manners.
Would they have treated it differently if Jordan had been murdered by a knife or rope?
I suspect they would have. Bang is much more newsworthy than the others.
Ceeb ducks out to get back to the Brawdcast.
Bonner on with Van Load (sic), Dom Leblanc and Joe Cromartin.
Complete ban? Van Loan offers sympathy. Says don't know how murder took place. Bonner uses Miller and McGuinty as sources to get CPC to ban handguns. Peter says not the day to grandstand on this issue. Thats what M&M do best. grandstand.
Leblanc is an idiot - son of Romeo - the bagman from Shediac who gave up his seat to get Chretien a safe entry to the House and then was named House Speaker.
Jope Cromartin can't remember JANE CREBA's name. Who was killed 200 yards from my place on Boxing Day. With a banned hand gun.
Like Van Loan said how many times can you ban something.
Cormartin agrees that the guys who wanna ban hand guns are grandstanding.
Bonner is better than Akin, she at least seems like she has a feel for the to and fro. Akin only gets the fro.
Leblanc, Shediac's favorite son, is a buffoon, brewed in the bad breath of Gritism.
Alghabra, Chow and Kenney on Akin . . .
Never has there been such useless self-serving panelists on either of these shows as Chow and Alghabra (who reportedly raised $250000 for his Grit nomination) and Chow (who with her hubby Talitubby Jack) who I have heard uses the Island Airport after making nuclear level noise to try and shut it down.
I wonder what the real story was on Alghabra's nomination? Something like this was "a victory for Islam" comment from one of his chief supporters. Alghabra rambles on, Kenney looks on with a bemused smile, like he knows something he dare not say.
Chow Chow gives NDP credit for program to recognize foreign credentials. I wonder if she would have minded a doctor from Zimbabwe who finished last in hsi class doing her surgery, even in a private clinic?
Danny the Dimwit wants AFN (the natives) to have seat on the Council of the Federation. What about ME!!!! It's about ME!!! What about German Scots!!! Why don't WE (represented by ME) get a seat on the Council. Huh, Danny? Separate your island back into the stone age. I'll buy my fish somewhere else. What's that? Oh, you don't have any fish left? Too damn bad. I'll eat cake instead.
Akin got Joy, Reynolds and Hall Finlay (is her last name Hall or Finlay?)(Why does SHE get two last names? Is she special or just act like it?)
Wooo, topic is having one securities regulator across Canada. That'll get Akin a lot of viewers.
Lunn on foreign credentials on Bonner. All has been said. I wonder how Canadians would react given a choice, a Russian Certified Accountant? an English Dentist? A Namibian Architect? a Borneo trained Brain Surgeon? or a Canadian homebrew of any creed.
I've had enough for one evening.
Got a BBQ to fire up.
If you had the patience to get this far I honour you.

Evening Blue Lemons Report Newman Duff May 17
Duff - Income Trust Charges, Charges? Daily scraps.
Newman - Informal Committee Meeting - no Chair
Silly Season in the House...
On Newman
Red Julie on empty committee meeting. Liberal Hack Witnesses don't get chance to beg more money.
Attaran (Islam Iggy Lover) filibustered out of committee. Never has a filibuster been so well used. Aw, his nerves were frayed...
He can go and get sympathy from his patrone Iggy.
Jay Hill says opposition is acting like a coalition government and wants to have their way. Ralphie Hedgehog says Parliament going through rough patch... Master of the understatement was well as the under achievement.
Duff - Income Trust Investigation -- Of course the Grits say that the bulge post non-announcement was just good analysis on Bay Street. I will bet all my gains from the Income Trust scam that this was indeed a scam. Seeing as all those who know about it are likely to be charged, small wonder they're closing ranks. Millions of dollars were made on Bay Street by this leak. Dozens of rich people could go to jail.
Back to Newman - power struggle between unelected coalition and minority. Ralph and Jay scrapping hard - Jay - watch your ankles... The Hedgehog. Scary. Ankle-biter.
Libby barely gets a word in.
Much more active Newmanduff today and I gotta leave about 545.
Libby claims NDP are the only working caucus. Seeing as how they never actually have to ever do anything they probably are. Working hard on doing nothing. All they have is the power to do is screw things up.
Duff - George Baker calls someone a sookie baby. What the hell is a "sookie baby". That's before my time... Sounds kinda sexy. Is George Baker comparing some MPs to Eastern European immigrant stripper/hookers? It's humorous to see old washed up "no turbans in the RCMP" George Baker and cool low key westerner Terry Strattan going at it. Like a terrier trying to take a bite out of a sheepdog. Baker et al trying to nail Marjorie LeBreton. Don't tell Mr. LeBreton.
Complaints about summer school funding cuts. Given the non-existent unemployment rate, is there any need for a summer student program at all?? Why not do an analysis to prove that with a 5% unemployment rate we need the same funding as with a 15% unemployment rate? Know that in Ontario any student who wants a job can get one. Likely same in Alberta. New program is for those who genuinely have a problem getting jobs - rural, aboriginal, etc. Makes sense to me. Why not just eliminate all jobs and contribute funds to provinces to do with as they wish? Reduce tuition if desired. Hire needy Eastern Euro Strippers if the provincial MPPs prefer.
Committee Chaos on Duff - PMSH looks great in a nice suit. He tends to wear frumpy suits - improvement - thanks to image consultant?
Tom Lukiwiski bitches about the Liberal Senate - what happened to it being an advisory body? It was until the last 15 months. The Grits filled the old fart house with old used up hacks and they are now determining the legislative agenda. Fire all their old wrinkled asses. And Jimmy The K, who I believe exists purely with the support of Islamic nuts, is supporting the Senate. Throws dirt around on all Tories.
I feel like I'm live blogging a bar fight.
Martha Hall Finlay on Strat Session on Duff - no mention of whether nudity was involved with her sleep over. Joy is funny - I like her. For an NDPer she's cool. Reynolds, says Harper, tough, fair and honest. Forgets boring and controlling. Is anyone working on the uncalled election and tried to do anything locally?? Duff on Carroll, as soon as he got candid Iggy and Coderre demanding that he get fired. Blood on the street it's up to their ankles.
Gotta run.
Today was a 6/10 only 45 minutes in. Silly season in Ottawa is like the weather in November.

Muslim Canadian Suicide Bomber Wannabe
From the Globe and Mail. The Muslim Canadian, arrested in Afgan on charges of planning a suicide attack, is from Calgary. This man wanted to be a suicide bomber, to copy his brother who had successfully killed himself and many children and women some time ago.
At that time, his identity had never been published.
But, his father said he had tried to talk his son out of going and doing this.
His Iman also said he had intervened to stop him. Both failed.
My question is, if the father and Iman both knew of his intentions, why did they not inform the RCMP, airlines, CSIS or somebody to have his passport taken away, or put on a no fly list.
The Iman says he has talked several others out of this. Has he really. Is Calgary full of wannabe suicide bombers. If they can't go to Afghan, will they attack in Canada. Should any of these Muslims from Calgary ever successful go to meet Allah and meet his 72 virgins, and kill women, children and others, the blame can be put directly on the Iman and fathers of said idiots.
Are not these the same people complaining no one did anything to stop Air India.
How many of these wannabes are sending money to the taliban. How many voted Liberal and urged Dion to vote against the Anti Terrorist Act?

Wear a Hijab Day - Why not Wear a Yarmulke?
Excerpts of this:

Women, whether Muslim or not, were invited to wear a head scarf all day to show support for those who regularly wear it.(Editor: Why not have everyone wear a Yarmulka to help sensititize people about the thirteen hundred years of Jewish persecution by Islamism?)
Professor Muriel Walker, who teaches French literature at Mac, organized the hijab day. "It can be difficult for women to wear the hijab," she said. "I want this to help sensitize people about Islam ... you should not be afraid of Muslims."
Walker, who moved from France 15 years ago, is not Muslim, but has worn a hijab on Fridays, an important day of prayer for Muslims, for about three months. It is astounding to me that a female professor, who made a statement on the 'beauty myth", most likely an ardent feminist, can have any desire to promote the sensitive side of Islam, rather than the side that is about the most misogynist in the world. Good for Tracy to respond.
"I just wanted to know what it's like to walk in their shoes, and show respect."
Walker believes that social expectations on women inherent in the "beauty myth" -- fashion, body image -- are themselves a form of coercion for women about their appearance.
On the other hand, Tracy Isaacs, a philosophy professor at the University of Western Ontario, who thinks that showing empathy for women who wear the hijab is a positive thing, wonders about the "context of choice" at play.
That is, if the beauty myth and other social conventions represent coercion against women, is covering up with a scarf or veil a legitimate choice? Muslim women are also encouraged to wear the hijab to keep males from sexually objectifying them. Is that a sound response?

I certainly hope that the USA is playing a guiding role
Story Here
There is a war against fundamentalist Islam in Somalia. Al Qaida is trying to infiltrate the local Islamists to build more support for their nefarious schemes. The United Nations have done nothing to help the brave Somalis out.
Then The Star reports on how Islamists are being interviewed by American security officials and includes the following paragraph:
The British are too cowardly to rescue their own kidnapped sailors.
So who's left. Maybe this was a Canadian (who else would worry about angering US officials?). Wouldn't bet against it.
Who are these "some U.S. allies" and who is this "Western diplomat"?
Why did The Star report such a serious statement without attribution?
Will the Government of Canada investigate this to see if indeed one of our representatives? We should. And send his ass to someplace he can do no harm. Maybe The Solomon Islands.

But some U.S. allies have expressed consternation at the transfers to the prisons. One Western diplomat in Nairobi, who agreed to speak to AP only if not quoted to avoid angering U.S. officials, said he sees the United States as playing a guiding role in the operation. The French and the Germans are too cowardly to do anything to stop Al Qaida. Neither of these cowardly nations give a flying fig if they piss off the Yanks.

10 Year Old Canadian Born Terrorist in Training
Driving to Montreal yesterday I tuned into CBC for a while - they were doing a call in on the home grown terrorists. A woman caller revealed herself as a teacher formerly working in a school in Regent Park. She told the story of a 10 year old boy she was working with. They were having a wonderful chat, he was smiling and laughing and explained how he knew how to speak all the languages in the world.
She asked him what Shalom meant.
She said his eyes went dead and he said "thats what Jews say and when we see Jews we're supposed to kill them."
The CBC host quickly soon after cut her off and started making apologies for 10 year olds in general, and how children of all backgrounds sometimes have misguided ideas.
Sure.....
Regent Park, along with being the easiest place in Toronto to get a cab, is also becoming largely Muslim. Of course, a fair share of these likely have such views and teach them to their children.
